Red Carpet Ready

34

It's award season in Hollywood which means lots of fabulous gowns, jewelry, shoes (oh the shoes) and frilly things that make live red carpet coverage as exciting, or even more so, than the award show it precedes. For red carpet coverage, this means a dress code for press...no jeans, no "street shoes," that kind of thing. A ballgown is not so practical on our side of the carpet, but a cute LBD and some fun heels and I'm good to go.

This dress is a favorite of mine. It's got sparkle and flair, and when I'm in the privacy of my own home, it's a good twirler. I nabbed this LBD at TJ Maxx in a random browse. The shoes are Target...enough said. I don't do animal print that much. In fact, these shoes are the only animal print I own. I don't mind it.

Dress: TJ Maxx (other options)
Shoes: Target, and they're on clearance!
